Welcome to Karibu Hostel and live an amazing experience by volunteering in Africa.

We guarantee a great atmosphere and free volunteering helping kids to get an education.

Karibu Hostel is located in a very secure area, only 5min walk from the city center of Moshi, Tanzania.

The idea of making the hostel was after 5 volunteers from different countries got together to set up an

NGO called Born to Learn and wanted to be sustained by the hostel.

We offer accommodation in sharing four-bed dorm rooms, where you could make some close friends and

twin-bed double rooms for those who want more intimacy.

A fully furnished hostel with all the facilities will make your stay comfortable.  

It has a huge garden with mango and banana trees where everyone can relax, play some sports or pick

up some fruits in season time.

You could watch movies or play some cards in our great living room combined with a spacious terrace,

where you could chat with other volunteers for hours while looking at the stars and moon.

By staying with us you will support Born to Learn and the community of Newland in Moshi town.
